The Pleasantville Community Synagogue welcomes all to join PCS for a special Saturday morning service led by Rabbi Shoshana Leis, with guest speaker Daks Armstrong. In person at the Pleasantville Community Synagogue or via Zoom.
Daks Armstrong is an educator, community organizer and social activist who has worked with various organizations such as Yorktown for Justice to bring awareness and support to issues of gender and racial equality.
He has given a number of public speeches, some of which can be found on YouTube. Days has been invited to join us at PCS for an open discussion about broad issues of discrimination and how we can work toward equity and inclusion in our own lives.
Refreshments will served following the service.
