The Council is proud to co-sponsor the annual County-Wide Holocaust Commemoration, along with the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center. This year's commemoration took place on Monday, April 24, 2017, 12:00-1:00pm at the Garden of Remembrance, White Plains.The program again included a procession of Westchester's rescued Holocaust Torahs. This year's guest speaker was Esther Geizhals, Holocaust survivor. The 2018 commemoration will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 12:00-1:00 at the Garden of Remembrance in White Plains.

The 2016 commemoration was held on Thursday, May 5, 2016, 12:00-1:00pm at the Garden of Remembrance, 148 Martine Avenue, White Plains.  Over 300 were in attendance. The program  included a procession of Westchester's rescued Holocaust Torahs and guest speaker Stanley Berger, Holocaust survivor.
