Please join AJC Westchester/Fairfield and the Jewish Community Center of Harrison for a special public program featuring Lt. Tzur Goldin of the IDF.  

Currently on reserve duty, Lt. Tzur Goldin is travelling the world and speaking about his experiences as a lieutenant combat officer in the paratrooper's Special Forces of the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) between 2011 and 2015. In the summer of 2014, Tzur served as a commander during the Gaza War, also known as “Operation Protective Edge.” At the same time his twin brother, the late Lt. Hadar Goldin, who also served a platoon commander in Givaati, was kidnapped and killed by the terrorist organization Hamas.

Tzur is currently a student of Law and History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and works at “Israel 2050,” an organization committed to improving economic and social issues in Israel. He is also head of the “Courage Project” which is an initiative of the Goldin family to bring Hadar, and the other Israelis who are held captive in Gaza, back home to Israel.

This program will take place at the Jewish Community Center of Harrison adn will be free and open to the public. Registration information will be available shortly.
