Life ends ‘happily ever after’ when we bring careful thought and advance planning to it. This two-part end-of-life series is both for those ready to think about these important issues and for any with older relatives they care about.
Death and Hors D'Oeuvres: Funerals and Jewish Mourning
Rabbi Leora Frankel and Michael Rosenthal, director of Rosenthal Memorial Chapel, will talk about Jewish values and rituals around end-of-life, funeral observances, and beyond.
Balancing both the spiritual and logistical, they will also field any questions you have about Jewish funerals and what mourners can expect. Light refreshments will be served.
You are welcome to attend either or both of these panels; please share widely.
Please RSVP with an e-mail to [email protected]nrye.org
so we can plan for enough food and seating.
